Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and serve those who need the most help.
Our team of 37 volunteer drivers take people to and from their medical appointments, church activities, and employment (for developmentally disabled individuals). Volunteers use our safe and reliable fleet of comfortable SUVs and sedans and receive routing and two-way radio assistance. We even provide all the liability insurance. Drive as much or as little as you’d like, from a few times a week to once a month. Volunteer shifts are between 2 and 5 hours each.
Volunteer drivers must meet a few basic requirements:
– Be between the ages of 25 and 79
– Have a clean driving record for the past 3 years (with no DUIs ever)
– Maintain a positive and encouraging presence for our riders
